Apart from Arisaig, what is the furthest north where lift out and storage is offered?.
Mainland or Hebridean.
There must be somewhere other than the Oban ones?
Any clues?
Thanks.

Thanks for that.
I’ve seen boats ashore there but couldn’t find any sign of a commercial yard.
I’ve e mailed the HM an enquiry.
Will post any reply.

Lochinver is operated by Highland Council who run the harbour, their harbours HQ is there. They take the boats quite a distance to a hardstanding behind the big fish shed truck loading docks. I have no idea what they charge but I am convinced that the harbour is really well run and they try really hard to accommodate yachties, worth asking them for details?

Not quite as far north as Lochinver, or indeed, Lerwick, but you can get lift out and storage at Kishorn.
As for furtherest north, I have seen a hoist in Brae which is a good bit up from Lerwick.

Oh, yes it is! Have a gander at a map or chart. Maybe I should have inserted a smiley for the geographically and/or googling challenged.

Lat/ long? Bearing/ range? Just “ have a gander at a mAp “ doesn’t really help much if we have no clue where you are talking about. I am guessing near Ullapool, but can’t find a main land Lerwick....( in the time it would take to give us all a clue ..)

.... or you very unhelpful refer to Mainland as in Shetland island, not what was clearly intended by OP. That is helpful...NOT!

There is a yard near Ullapool (although their main interest is wooden boats). Lochinver is quite good for storage but it is not a 'yard' in the conventional sense. It is hardstanding by the Council offices and has no facilities (other than electricity and water). You will have to arrange your own contractors and so on. Toilets (no showers) in the fish shed. I have hauled out there for underwater repairs and found it OK.

Used to be able to get a shower at the leisure centre just beyond the hardstanding?

How could I forget that - disadvantage is limited opening hours.

I f you consider Skye is 'mainland' then there are also a couple of yards in the Broadford area. There is one opposite Scalpay (whose name I have forgotten) that is limited to about 6 tonnes, the other is the Waterloo Boatyard which can handle larger yachts but is more commercial. Access to both is limited to Spring tides, which is bit awkward as these occur early mornings/evenings.
