Webasto Airtop 2000S wiring?

I have installed a couple of Ebersplatters in my time, but I am a Webasto virgin. I have picked up a used Airtop 2000S and the cables have just been cut.

So I have a thick brown and thick red wire, that are obviously the main power to the unit and the two fuel pump wires. So far, so good

I then have a single green/white wire that has a plug on the end and looks like it may never have been connected, although it could have.

I then have a grey and a purple wire that connects to the PCB on the same plug as the green/white wire above.

I then have a group of four wires (red, black, blue and white) that appear should go to the control unit (that I don't have). The red and black are simple switch wires according to what I can find online, that turn the unit on/off I guess either through the main switch on the control.

So the questions are, does any one know what the following wires do:

Green/white
Grey
Purple
Blue
White

Possible answers that I can find online seem to be ventilation only mode control (possibly grey wire), auxiliary drive/pumping device? (possibly purple wire), external temperature sensor (possibly green/white wire) Can anyone confirm some or any of these?

Also what would the Blue and white wires going to the main control unit likely do? They go through a wiring symbol that looks at best to be a variable resister/potentiometer. (a rectangle with an arrow diagonally through it). Do these go to the simple twist control that turns the heater up or down?

Thanks all.

Green / white is almost certainly the K line diagnostic connection for WTT software to talk to.

Ah, thank you. From that link I think I have worked out that the grey and purple wires are for ADR vehicles so I guess I just leave them disconnected. Green white is diagnostic, so again nothing to connect to.

Just leaves the four control wires to figure out what to do with in the absence of a proper Webasto controller.

Thanks

The simplest Webasto control is simply a rotary potentiometer with a linked switch .Page 36 shows item S1 - with connector X7 . Small red / Black - with an inline LED form the switch (to power up). Small Blue and small white are the variable resistance to adjust temperature settings. It doesn't appear to have any external temp sensor?

I've been through very similar electrical acrobatics re-commissioning an AT5000 as a garage heater!
