Weatherfax

I installed the JVCom weatherfax programme several months ago and got it working fine but did not use it again until now. When I first used it, the charts consisted of black lines on a white background but now, though I have not knowingly changed anything, I am receiving charts with white lines on a black background.

Have the charts changed in the last few months or can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Its probably just the tone setting or clarify control on the Target receiver. At low pitched fax signal it gives white on black as you move up to a higher pitch it changes to black on white. You also get the same effect as you fine tune and get a different pitch of audio going into laptop.

Thanks for that, I was just a bit perplexed because it worked so well to begin with but now something has changed. In fact I am not using a "Target" receiver, the computer is plugged into an ssb. I will twiddle some of the knobs and see if it makes any difference.....
