What do you reckon?

My Guess is ..
F5 W or NW Fri/Sat Light Northerlies Sunday

So cracking sail across;-) and long motor back:-(

In that case it will be South by West 3-4 oc 6 going and north by East 4-5 oc 7 on the way back...
These predictions are in no way based on fact just experience...

Looks loke crap Fri/Sat cld be better on Sun

Looks a bit more like SW6/7 decreasing W5/6 Fri/Sat and then there's one of those wibbly wobbly fronty things wanging its way through during Sat so cld have some extra puff as that goes through. I trust that you will be putting reefs in both your ensign and your cycle clips.

latest forecasts from most of the web sites are showing no more than 10 kts with mainly 4-8 kts for the next several days following the passage of this front

XCweather is showing W-NW F8 decreasing F4 tomorrow, then W-SW F5-6 for Friday, lasting until Saturday morning, then SW F5 decreasing to a F4 as it swings northerly on Saturday afternoon then picking up to a N-NE F5 for most of Sunday.

Mmm, lovely: an F5 on the nose until it drops away and veers to a dead run, with a great big cross swell left over from the previous days, then an F5 on the nose on the way home.

Unfortunately this is supported by the atlantic synoptic charts showing the big low on Friday being shunted reluctantly out of the way over the weekend, you'll have to trust the Beeb for those as the met office website seems banjaxed at the moment. The great god Theyr won't divulge anything about the coming weekend until Friday, unfortunately. Still on the plus side, it looks like the promised high is establishing and there should be some flatter seas for the rest of the month.
