I couldn't resist the weather station in Maplins for £20 however it's predictions so far have been 100% wrong, so expect the opposite to what it says. Quite useful for a cheap instrument to record inside/outside temperature and humidity though.
Are the more expensive ones any better??

The Met Office has a new toy - it will consist of 30 NEC SX-6 nodes forming a supercomputer more than six times as powerful as their present pair of Cray T3E's. This will rise, in 18 months or so, to 12.5 times the present performance. It cost, at a guess, at least 12.5 times what your Maplin unit cost, and you can figure out for yourself how much more accurate it is.
