Hope you had a good weekend.,
Just wanted to point out a glorious satellite picture taken earlier this afternoon. It's available at

These pictures are free to view, but you may need to register first (well worth doing). The image was taken by one of the polar orbiting satellites. These are in a much lower orbit then the conventional satellite pictures we see on TV and so you can see more detail. The shdows behind the cloud trailing through north Wales and northern England is particularly stunning on this picture.
Notice also how you can see the main conurbations of London, Birmingham standing out, together with the Fens.
Tomorrows cold front is over northern Scotland, althougb it's not a very organised feature.
