Waypoint Liferaft

I haven't seen the Waypoint job, but I reckon the known brands a serious rip-off both in purchase price and often the servicing costs, and the cheaper rafts don't fill me with confidence; any newcomer to add a bit of competition seems good to me.

Edit; have just looked up the Waypoint rafts, they look good to me; I like the fact that even the coastal jobs have inflatable floors, and at £550 they compete with other 'cheaper' rafts.

My friend bought one and hasn't used it in anger!

The guy who owned the business was very passionate about the product on the tand at the show.

I would say not in the Winslow or Viking range, but easily Seago/OceanSafety/Plastimo quality on a like for like basis.

Only aggro he had was importing it into Turkey to meet the boat......doubled the cost!
