Just looked at the webcam and it looks as though the tides out.....

Ahh, the webcam is on again, not moving though. I messaged Watchet to ask if they were still taking on new berth holders and no reply was the answer.

According to the website, a new camera will be in place by the end of January.....

I believe the site is only currently manned on a bare bones essential basis currently, if that.

Looking in the local free press, Odling-Smee is still saying he intends to get the marina up and running again. He recently returned 35 car parking spaces to the council in lieu of a £500,000 bond they were asking for. According to Google, Watchet is now officially closed for business. I wonder if Ribdriver has anything new to add?

I don't really know much more than anyone else I think. Same as it was at last check. I think everyone is watching and waiting to see what happens next. Yes it's a difficult site but to see it how it is now is is very depressing.
