Washboard seating groove.

On one of the boats I sail, the Perspex washboard slides in to a plastic u-shaped groove attached to the companionway.

After 2o odd years, we need to replace the plastic u-shaped groove. Is there anywhere near the Solent or in the SE who would be able to fabricate one?

Boat I sailed on a few times ... the plastic side runners had aged and were brittle ... bits started cracking off.

Guy ripped them off and then took strips of hardwood and created his own 'runners'.

Looked really nice and did the job.
