I've got one and have been very happy with it. Mine was built by Trident about a year before they went bust and the owner of the Company used to be rather dimissive about home-completed boats- but perhaps he would say that! It is strong and robust but needs F4 to get it sailing well. Good motion in a seaway and is very sure-footed. My only real criticism is that close-hauled leeway in a blow is a bit more than I would like. Longish keel but at only 5'3" in the water it could do with a bit more depth. That apart it's a great bit of kit for the cruising yachtsman. If you are in the south I'll give you a ride, but it will be in Cornwall second half of July and August.
Thanks for the advice, I have looked at one in Lymington and will look at another in Southampton later this week. If I get close to buying a Warrior 40 and our schedules fit, I would like to take you up on your offer.
