volvo TD70F I think it\'s a lorry engine ?? but

The numbers on the block just below the head say TD70F
It's in the tug runs ok if you ignore smoke but that could be glazed bores as it was hardly used ,in fact only when a small coaster needed turning around and an occasional run up and down the 6 mile stretch to the wash
Injectors recently serviced ,starts instantly
I might still be ok for a manual but if any one has one that may be handy to know
Half the battle will be knowing which lorry it came from.
It's a great set up the engine has a shaft coupled to the fly wheel then to a PARSONS GEARBOX oooohhhhhhh
I hope to start welding the hull by the end of this week

answer I think is FL 7 series truck, a long time ago, ask old volvo lorry dealer for info.

Thanks for that ,it's the usual thing once I get any thing I then cant help but arm myself with spare's at the price I want to pay and not when things are desperate,and you end up paying through the nose
