I wonder if anyone has any suggestions as I am at my wits end with a problem I have.

I purchased a Princess 35 fitted with 2 TAMD41's on shafts 2/3 years ago. The port side engine has always been difficult to start due to air in the system. I have have had two Volvo dealers and two very experienced independent marine mechanics looking at this problem over the last two years but the problem still persists. I have replaced, fuel filter/housing, fuel pump mechanical (twice), replaced fuel line from filter to mechanical pump, had the engine serviced/new filters and recently had the injectors rebuild/calibrated to no avail. The engine starts immediately if I bleed the injectors. The engine will stop and start all day with no problems once it has been run but if it is left for more than 5/8 hours, then air gets back in the fuel lines. The fuel lines do not leak when engine is running. The engine runs/ticks over perfectly when it has been bled and pulls full revs if hull is clean. Obviously I have spent literally thousands chasing this problem with new parts labour etc but it is still there.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.http://www.ybw.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.png
