Visiting boats at Easter

Private boating permitted for recreaction 29th March
+ over nights 12th April
+ 2 x households 17th May.
No restrictions / Back to lock down . 21st June

Simples.

I will be working very close to where my boat will be at Easter so can legally stay onboard....
Of course if the weather is pants then the job will get called off.

Going to the boat seems fine personally particularly if you have had at least one jab , but staying on the boat might not be so wise depending on location - I guess not an issue though for some locations -so far we have been respectful of the no overnight rules and just had a day visit to view some rigging work Clearly I don’t see why a sail isn’t in order if you have somewhere else to stay though.

Suggestion that staying overnight in '2nd home' which is what boats are classed as from previous threads, due to legal loophole, from 29th March as reported in National press

They're not so brazen to flout the law quite so publicly as you Roy, but then you already know my price not to snitch. Please pay in advance :p

What old git said.
However, the rules don’t make a great deal on sense.

I can sleep with my wife at home, but not on my boat?
Unless we are going to invite any passing strangers to join us for the night...?

‘tis like the man who is allowed to sleep with his wife, but right now it would be illegal for him to play golf with her ?
