Vevor diesel heater, from China, like Webasto - anyone used one?

Has anyone fitted/used a Vevor WFRCX007 Diesel Heater seen advertised on E-Bay here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4KW-12V-Diesel-P...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

4KW 12V Diesel Heater kit for £229 including shipping from Germany.

Any comments on fitting or using?

No direct experience but it's presumably similar to the other low cost eber lookalikes available. Lengthy thread about these on the pbo forum, and there's a very active Facebook group specifically about cheap Chinese diesel heaters.

Feedback appears to be predominantly positive, most problems related to delayed delivery (probably not an issue with your heater coming from Germany) and occasional shipping damage. Also a few reports of the fitting kit not matching the description, e.g. Wrong type of controller supplied.

A small handful of people have been hit by import charges, again you'd avoid these buying from Germany, but tbh even if you have to pay the fees, it's still cheaper to buy direct from China.

As kelpie says. This one superficially looks a little better than the Chinese 'Planair' copies. The plugs look more robust as does the timer. Just buy one and report back to us!

The timer on these appears to be a direct copy of the Eber Easystart-T which could be better than some of the other ones.
There is of course no guarantee that they come from Bremen, Germany. The Portsmouth, UK ones that were received came direct from China.

Quite why they have to list the same heater with exactly the same item description as coming from so many different sellers (all from the same couple of towns in China) is beyond me. Even if you do decide to buy one you then have to decide whether to buy it from qiandingzhensatisfaction, tool-zoom, industry-village, wholesalermultifunction, hotitemsale, industrysky, beautydirectmall, discountdesignsltd, factorydirectitem or .. (I got bored at this point)
