If you use this style of fitting (no idea of quality, but looks reasonable and is a good price) : 24mm For Boat Car Thru Hull Exhaust Skin Fitting Tube Pipe Air Diesel Heater sd | eBay

I'd look to fit it on the center line, but low enough to have the pipe come from the through hull, loop up to the underside of the deck and then down to the heater.

I am pretty sure that is the sort we have. It was on the boat when we got it.

Ours exits starboard side high it. It has a bung in it when not in use to protect from waves. Of course you must remove the bung before using the heater.
