Hi Folks,
I have one of the above. It's been running fine for the last few years. Then, end of last summer it started running faster, suddenly, often towards the end of bringing up the anchor. At first I thought it was just because as there was less chain to bring up and thus less weight.
Over the winter I checked the brushes and cleaned the motor etc, all looked fine.
It does this every time I use it, but I've noticed that it's erratic, sometimes halfway through. Are they two speed, the manual only mentions a 1:60 ratio? If so are the gears sticky? Is it likely to be an electrical problem?
Any ideas what might be happening?
Should I worry, or ignore?
