I to used to repair and service airless units (Wagner) and still own one which is used regually for painting the club ship (old car ferry), a moorings barge and landside buildings as well as my own boat. The most important thing is to keep the equipment clean, so you will need a fair quantity of the relavent thinners to clean up afterwards. In the case of anti-foul, this could make the job expensive but it would be very quick.
Also with airless, overspray is much less of a problem than with other equipment - I resprayed the moorings barge less than 1metre from my own boat with no problem.
