I was once told that the two most useless things on a Yacht is a Wheelbarrow and a Royal Navy Officer. I agree with the former but only partially agree with the latter, I once knew a young Officer who made excellent coffee.

However wheelbarrows are very useful on cross channel ferries! When I was a deck boy on Townsend Thoresen Free Enterprise ll, summer job many years ago, I discovered if I carried foot passengers luggage they gave me money. I borrowed a wheelbarrow and my income shot up dramatically. Those were the days!
