No luck in "Scuttlebutt" so I thought I would stick in here to see if anyone could help?

My stepson is currently at Lympstone training to be a Royal Marine Officer and they will be going over to the USA later in the year. They have an opportunity to do some "adventure training" and a group want to do a sail training course in the Daytona area, I'm sure they could travel a bit if necessary - does anyone have any ideas?

Any ideas would be appreciated thank you!

Just came back from a week in St Petersburg in the Tampa, FL area. Went sailing with sailing florida and can thoroughly recommend them.

Superb location on the waterfront of St P., access to the facilities of the Renaissance Resort Hotel, 19 boats of which 4 are less than 12 months old, relatively tide free simple (but shallow!) sailing in 400sq miles of Tampa bay or pop out into the Gulf of Mexico and even down to Florida Keys for something a bit more dramatic!

Thanks guys - I have passed those links onto him, he is also talking to an EX US Marine with a sailing school so I think they're sorted now!

Appreciate the help and hope to show you some photos of the results when they get back.
