Is your sailing boat a bit on the slow side, perhaps lacking in outright performance possibly due to a less-than-perfect hull design or an ill-thought-out rig? Or perhaps you feel the need for more deck space whilst out cruising, and a bit more control under power?
If so, then following our success to date, I plan to hold another (free!) short course in Uprating Your Sailing Boat.
Modifications that delegates on this course have already undertaken include engine upgrades, extensive hull modifications, and radical rearrangement of the sailplan, all of which have given excellent results. And don't take my word for it- one very experienced crew -who started off by saying that that they would normally have spent 12 hours on a non-stop round-the-island trip - reckoned that with the new changes they could have easily completed the trip in less than four hours if they hadn't spent most of the afternoon in the pub.
