I’ve just made new set of upholstery but used old foam. Decided I’ll make another set. Anyone got any good suggestions on foam suppliers and types of Fabrics.

I used Hawke House for mattresses based on the existing ones, I took the old ones in for them to copy because they needed to fit the curves of the forward cabin. They also made other cushions from my measurements. We had a full discussion about the structure and I was able to see the different types of foam. Very satisfied.

The fabric came also came from them, they made up fabric covered buttons to match.

Some metal button backs can corrode/rust. I had plastic ones which were still going strong 18 years later.

The same goes for zips, metal sliders can corrode and seize.

+1 for GB foam direct, I bought foam from there twice with two campervan builds, and will do the same with the boat upholstery when we get to that stage.
What foam depends on what you will primarily do with it, we wanted foam mainly for mattress and occasional sitting - went with 4" firm with 2" memory on top for the recent campervan (GB foam were great and glued it together for us). TBH, it's not as comfortable as I would like and I would go with a different mix of 2" hard, 2" medium and 2" memory, or call them and discuss options for the boat. We don't need any seating foam for the boat as it's only mattresses.

Another +1 for GB foam direct.
Living not too far away they were happy for me to take in the patterns so they could cut the 3D shape. i.e the back edge is sloped where it meets the hull.
