The Summary Thread / Sticky has just been updated with some important information :encouragement:
Yes fantastic effort from you Gary. I will get my page going over the Christmas break, and we can push on from your fantastic start.Great news! The first major target has been achieved with donations now sitting at an amazing £500. That's 10% of our overall target to achieve a total of £5000 by June.
Next target is to reach £1000 and remember you can donate via 3 team member pages (more pages will be added) which I am sure the other guys would appreciate.
See the summary thread for details of how to donate and don't forget you can also donate up to £10 via txt messaging, there's a separate thread within this event section showing you how to.
Hi Paul.. Howard created this fantastic cheat sheet... https://www.dropbox.com/s/hwob9zxkz...ith Bike for Charity forum bike ride.pdf?dl=0
can you follow this link and then click on Join Team once you've created your own page? https://www.justgiving.com/teams/BikeForCharity
Yep, I'm in. Many thanks. Just need to get some miles on and cash coming in now.
LATEST NEWS:
We now have 4 team members that have created Just Giving pages and hopefully Paul will have his up and running soon making it 5. This is great news as the more we have created, the more potential we have for hitting our desired target of £5k. Can I ask those that have their names on the list to consider doing likewise please, the sooner you do, the more donations you're likely to receive which after all, is the reason why we're doing this :encouragement:
I've added the guide to creating your page and joining the team on the Summary Information sticky.. I have also added a link to our team Strava page should you wish to use that to help track your progress during training and log your times on the day of the event.
cheers Gary
Nice one, hoping to go for a ride myself today once this frost clears :encouragement:
