Underwater Endoscope Camera for checking props etc

I'm looking for a reasonably priced unit which will connect to my phone and will be good to 2 metres. I've used a Go Pro on a boathook but it lacks live view because the Bluetooth doesn't work underwater. Preferably from Ali Express or Amazon.

I'm very happy with both my depstech ones - one plugs into the phone, the other is by wifi

I keep the plug-in one on the boat as it doesn't need charging

Yep, second for depstect. Been in the fuel tank , in the boom, up the chimney, under the floor.

I use a Fishing camera ... wider view and greater distance ...

You can get with plug in display or as mine which is wired (30m) to a WiFi box ... box being rechargeable.

I have a Teslong one which is not bad, it plugs into a USB port on a PC. About £20, cannot recall. Having a handheld dedicated display look a bit easier though!

The Depstech ones on Amazon are fine for this. Done many times

For that money you can't go wrong I think

Yeah, I know. Actually my draft is marginally less than 1m but I was allowing for manoeuvring it into place etc. I decided to take a chance on it.

Well as you probably know rule of thumb is 1 meter is about 1.5 psi pressure and 2 is about 3psi i would stretch a bit of cling film over it but first test the working temperature with the lights on, so as to not melt the cling and fu the lens.

The endoscopes I've looked at all have a focal range in single digit cm which is great for looking in fuel tanks etc but if you wanted to look at the prop you'd have to, from the deck, get it to within a couple of inches of the prop.

Which is exactly why I use a Fishing Camera .... which is designed to have good distance view ...
