Underlined Depths

Can anyone please confirm that the reason some chart depths are underlined is because they are not covered by water during the LAT. Thanks Nick

I think you will find that underlined depths are technically drying heights above Chart Datum which is usually LAT on BA charts but not always .
Chart Datum and LAT vary on foreign charts also.
So take care....

Stephenh is absolutely right. Underlined heights show drying heights above Chart Datum.
Rocks that dry are the most dangerous things out there and can catch the unwary.

Lobster pots are the most dangerous things "out there" At least you know where the rocks are.
