I'm trying to make a list of powerboats that are currently made and/or sold in the UK. My list of UK boatbuilders so far is very short and there must be some more. Can you help?

Landau
Orkney
Panther
Picton
Raider
Salcombe Flyer
Seaquel
Warrior

I'm interested in anthing engine powered up to 30ft except RIBs and PWC's.

Also do you know if the following are still available in the UK?

Aquaflyte
Arvor
Atlantis
Azura
Baja
Cougar
Draco
Fletcher
Gobbi
Marada
Ranieri
Seapro
Triumph

Thanks
Joe

why are you making a list - MBM seem to have a rather long list in the magazine along with contact deatils and prices.

Don't forget your namesake !
Plus Bonwitco, Fletcher(new), Harley,Starfish. If the C.I. count as Uk then also Seaward under 30ft. Think you can also still get to special order a Newhaven Sea Warrior but suspect it's now built by Mitchell so you've got them already.
Arvor, Azura and Ranieri definitely still available. Think Cougar and Seapro probably are also.

Draco are now under the wing of Windy who are marketed by our very own Express Cruisers (A division of the Berthon Group). The Draco range now consists of a selection of walk-around deck motorboats with the emphasis on quality of build and sea-keeping. Not cheap but blows most things out of the water.

Phantom Powerboats as such no longer exist, Steve Baker having retired. You can still purchase boats from the original mould from a variety of companies, Phantom UK building the 16 & 18ft, Nick Barsch builds the 19ft and Trio Mouldings have the 21 & 23ft moulds.

Then you have the following other manufacturers:
Ring Powercraft
Extreme Marine
Shakespeare
Marshan (possibly still available)
Jetstar
Fletcher & Panther
Sorcerer

Baja are imported by the Bayliner importers, (both built by the same company) although they have gone a bit low profile with it since they lost the court case regarding the 40ft sportsboat that fell apart!
