Mechanical failure = someone forgot to put the handbrake on

Did it myself when I was a removal man , the van rolled back down a hill , hitting the customers car and punting it through a hedge , all very embarrassing

Looks to me like the tug was an unfortunate bystander and the harbour wall saved the lorry.

I fix lorries for a living and can tell you all this talk of mech failure is total bollacks, but on the other hand it is a scaffold wagon!, probably the worst maintained vehicles on the road.
