The trouble I've had getting new windscreen wipers for my Windy!! Ended up going to a scrap yard and cobbling some things together. Its the arms I'm after, not the blades.

Any one know where I can get new ones? They are the push in type and are the same size push ons as old British Leyland Mini or old Wolseley, exept the stalks are longer, obviously.

Try taking the old blade and arm along to your local Volvo TRUCK dealer if they are large or Volvo car dealer if of the smaller variety. I bought two new wiper arms and blades for my Nimbus 310 (also Swedish) from the Volvo Truck dealer at a fraction of the price of the Nimbus 'official' parts. Apparently they are originally sourced from Volvo's OEM in Sweden and are identical. May be the same for Windy - or try other Swedish auto sources, like SAAB. Also you can try 'German & Swedish Autos' who have a network of parts shops in the south of England. Good luck.

Thanks for this. I did try yesterday to source these from a scrap yard and I had thought of old Volvo or SAAB - but no luck. They didn't have any trucks though...

out of interest, if I want to fit wipers, do I need to get a marine version, or any old car set up would do, do you think?
