Do you get much ingrained dirt in the foam itself? Just trying to understand how soft it is.
Nothing out of the ordinary . Cleans up well with soapy water and a washing up sponge. It is soft. You can push a fingernail into it . Just thinking, you could try one roll and perhaps do a couple of cockpit lockers to see if you like it. It's sticky backed and not like a 2 part glue so should be easy to come off.

It is fairly soft, and I do get ingrained dirt on the cabin sole - a microfibre cloth and soapy water cleans it

I think I may have an off cut that I could post to you? or I think you can get samples from Amazon

Thanks very much for the offer but I'm no longer in the UK. It's cheap enough that I could just order some, I'm sure it would find a use somewhere.
