The picture shows my transducer housing when the boat was lifted yesterday. It certainly explains why the paddle wheel wasn't going round. I don't feel the need to antifoul the actual transducer because I pull it out frequently and stuff dies off. But what can I put on the housing to prevent repeat embarrassment?

I should say - can I use any old antifoul (I've found half a tin of Micron 350 in the skip)? My study of organic chemistry was (a) well over 50 years ago (b) disastrous, so the warnings I've seen about ketone-based coatings on plastic components don't quite settle my mind.
