Wrongly in my view. There are still plenty of boats out there with fanciful asking prices. I looked at about 10 boats last year before I bought my present one and all but 2 are still on the market now. The 2 that have sold were priced right at the bottom end of the market and as I understand still sold for a lot less than asking price. So maybe 20% less than average asking price as suggested by Mapism is even too optimistic. Having said that, it does depend on the size and type of boat. Mid size flybridge boats in the Med are still not selling well whereas possibly smaller boats here in the UK are doing better

Def mike , remember I had some stick on here accused of insulting people with there boats for sale, I'd say its more people believing there boats worth a lot more than it actually is. In the end I bought the right boat.
The said boat and post that caused a lot of trouble never sold and was withdrawn from the market, I bought the same model boat two years newer for the same price, patience is a wonderful thing.

To be fair Paul, you wre also on here saying people were insulting you offering X on your old 410. You can't have it both ways.

I know , but again patience is a wonderful thing the 410 made a good price in the end to the right man who wanted a turn key condition boat, that exactly what he got.

None of the boats I offered on were turn key, quite the opposite to what I bought.

LOL, offer (on a boat) and insult in the same sentence.
Now, that's an oxymoron, if I've ever seen one... :D
