Tow line

I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why a 'tow line' should be a requirement!? .... If the instructor has so little confidence in the boat in question it raises other questions.

I guess that it is prudent to know you have a line aboard suitable for getting or giving a tow. we don't have a dedicated line but all the crew know we have a long length of nylon and that one use would be for towing ( and where it is!)
