Too much duplication

I am very unhappy, after buying the latest Yachting World and PBO, to discover that the same boat is reviewed in both magazines.

Does anyone else share my view that there is too much duplication between the 4 magazines from this stable?

Do the management assume that every reader sticks to one magazine - or are they just saving money?

I don't mind it with new boats- after all, there's only a small number of new boats released each year. Its when they do it with second hand boats that annoys me, such as when last year one of them did a second hand review of a Hurley 24/70, then 2 months later the other magazine did the same.

I mind even with a new boat - there are plenty around if necessary. There are some other bits as well, but as the Chief Engineer has gone off with PBO I can't identify them at this moment. At about £7 a month I think we can expect a bit better ....

Agree .. I've got a big pile of old magazines in the garage and I just reread them apart from YM which the MIL gets me on a monthly basis .. but that does look as if its short of material at the moment.
