Toilets. A waste of space?

Sounds like the OP has already stopped using his bolted in heads.

It now just a question of whether he removes it.

Which comes down to the balance between resale value and the bother of doing the work verses space, simplicity and less holes below the waterline.
One option would be to remove it, put it in the garage and keep the fixings in place, freeing up the space for whatever he wants.

The slight oddity is having an electric toilet in such a small (and dare I say elderly) boat - most would have a simpler manual toilet in a small boat, with presumably limited battery capacity. But other than that definitely would be near unsellable if removed entirely.

Given no actual use is proposed I question whether there is any pressing purpose waiting in the wings to fill the vacant space. It's a good way of rendering a vessel of that size unsellable.

There is a porta potty in the heads on our boat, it's a bit different than the Elsan we had in the caravan, technology has come a long way since the 1960s ;)

Kids have said do not poo in the potty, they have porta potties in their caravans and you cannot keep them from stinking if you poo in them.

Any way we are thinking of changing it far a taller model as to sit on it your knees would be at your ears - mind you that is the ideal position for doing your business

I always use the holding tank and top tank chemicals in our Portapotty but don't leave it more than a few days to empty it.
It is used for non liquid when anchored as we don't have a holding tank.

One of the selling points for both myself, as well as my other half, was the decent sized heads. The Elan, which we originally intended to buy, had a bulkhead over the pan. So unless one was hung like a donkey one could not pee into it from a standing position.
The Hanse has a heads compartment that, for the size of boat, is luxury. No way would I consider such a move as to remove such a vital piece of equipment.
Nothing like starting the day with wash, shave, dump & pump. Luxury :D
The OP must be mad.

We are into the 3rd decade of the 21st century. Time and tide wait for no man. Join the majority, in the 21st C, and maintain the re-sale value of your asset.

What exactly are you going to do with the space you free up....?

There is nothing worse than trawling through Yachtworld, Boat24, etc. and finding a suitable looking boat, within budget, only to find that the owner has butchered it with some way .... it probably made sense to the owner at the time, but for prospective buyers it's often a dealbreaker and results in an instant click on the "back" button.

IMO it is sound advice that if you modify the boat, do it in a way that the modifications can be easily reversed when it comes time to sell - unless it really is an upgrade e.g. a properly installed bowthruster.

Passing a motion on a 5l bucket whilst steering under sail in a built up area is an necessary sailing skill for lone sailors. Particularly having no dodgers and heeling at 20 degrees.
I think you should keep your posh toilet and trimmings. Great selling point .

I have a Blakes Victory, i love it so much i am going to take it out of the boat and take it home with me. My wife and kids hate it.

Will you empty it first, or do a "Tracy Emin", fill it with clear resin & call it "Log in a Blakes" & sell it for a few £K
You can imagine the poncy, plum in mouth, art experts in the gallery, with their catalogues in hand, peering down at it, discussing the merits of----------------bronze V true design SCs?
