I've just bought a second-hand Tilley lamp. If anyone has an instruction sheet, I would be very grateful for a copy, either by post or scanned/e-mail. If you let me know the address, I'll send a SAE.

Where can you buy spares, mantles, etc?

they are still made but cost around £75. there are cheap imitations that run on petrol at 1/3 of the price but the real thing is worth looking after.

Tilley were still on the go in N Ireland when I bought my own second hand one. They sent me a copy of the manual. Try them - failing that, pm me.

Where are you? If your anywhere near Poole, Boones Hardware in Poole High Street carry all the spares, as do Ponds Hardware in Wareham. You'll also find that lots of fishing tackle shops stock all the parts as they are very popular for night fishing.
