Another question about my new boat, every boat I've ever been on had a button on the throttle so you could run the engine in neutral at higher revs.

This one seems not to or am I being thick and it's hidden somewhere?

Grasp the bottom of the lever and pull it out away from the mounting. It will then turn without selecting a gear.

With mine you push the lever in (away from you) then push it forward.
My beta 20 won’t start when cold without the extra revs.
