THOSE OF US WITH BOATS IN THE MED

We filled out the forms that Euro tunnel have on their web site when you book, we weren’t asked for these, supposedly they are for if you get stopped or there is an outbreak the authorities can find you, on our return the U.K. customs wanted public health passenger locator forms filling, you can do this on line whilst you wait.........but they also said things are changing daily and it was possible these forms wouldn’t be needed in the very near future.

Thanks, this is what I pretty much suspected. I think (as long as things remain stable) there will be no form filling either way due to the new air bridge arrangements.

Any of you guys out in Mallorca next week.
We are heading that way.
Not in JW.
A delivery trip to exchange boats in Cala d'Or.
So we will probably be in Cala d'Or for 2 or 3 days.
Then heading round to Palma to check fuel consumption rates on the new boat before heading back to Sant Carles.
It will be three of us (guys) from Sant Carles so it is a bit of a boys trip.
Maybe we could meet up with others already in Mallorca.

I am hoping that we will be able to have a swim in Santa Ponsa before the return trip.
Maybe more to follow on this delivery trip if people are interested.

We are here all summer - so drop me a pm when you are on your way.

What boat are you collecting ? From boats ?

Portsmouth to Bilbao Ferry was great we arrived Bilbao 6:45 UK time, you are given a health form at the kiosk on arrival which you complete enroute then they temp check you and collect forms in the garage before you disembark.

No problems at all driving through Spain and/or in the marina so. other than an easier experience on the ferry, stay in your cabin until deck called, there were no queues on stairs and garage doors open, it was great.

about 50% of people in Sant Carles wearing masks, hand sanitiser on all marina gates.

Let’s hope no further breakouts in Spain...!

Not a real time pic, obviously - taken a couple of days ago, upon full moon.
But fits the thread nicely...

Any ideas what that red ketch is in the background MapisM? Looks big. Great photo. (y)

(Maybe not a Ketch as the mizzen is the same size??)

(2nd edit, it's a schooner, both masts the same size)

Nope, sorry.
BTW, I'm not onboard right now, otherwise I could have easily walked there and have a look.
I will if she'll be still there in a couple of days, when I'll be back.
Not a "resident" boat, anyway.

I've seen ppl remove the aft boom on a small westerly as it was getting in the way and only used to sort of stabilise the boat against the wind when anchored (owners words) but removing the, I guess, main boom is a bit odd, no?

Now you have mentioned it i'm struggling to see the rest of the rigging, probably because it's dark! I'm also questioning (in my mind) if it is the same boat!
