l have some info for a couple of guys, the only thing its a bit long winded, can l put attachments on my replies to posts in any way - bear in mind l aint no computer wizard - l have replied to them and suggested direct contact by mail - Thanks all

As suggested, you can use private messaging here. Click on the user name you want to mail (sorry, you have to do it one at a time) and a window opens up with that user's details. Look towards the foot of the page and you'll see the option to send private mail.

Alternatively, look at the message box in User options, click on 'Send a PM' and do it that way (you'll need to know the required username but you can add them to your own directory).

Recipients will receive mail instantly if online. Only downside compared to conventional e-mail, no means of attaching things like word docs and pics.

I had a recent posting on VAT on it I sugested that they if anyone wanted more info then they could give me their email address by private mail. Some people did this and I was able to scan the document and send it directly to them by email. I think that the three people who asked for copies were able to resolve my direct email sufficently to give them the info they required.
