Among the things I need to remember to do, before we get the boat in the water - Not necessarily in the order of difficulty/importance/etc as they all need to be done :
  1. Apply the anti fouling.
  2. Test raise the new main up the mast.
  3. Test raise the new jib.
  4. Apply silicone lubricant to the mast track
  5. Lower the mast for towing to launch ramp.
  6. Install the 'rubber' bungs in the mast to retain the shroud and ends.
  7. Install the wind direction indicator on mast head (while it is lowered).
  8. Wipe down the surfaces in the cabin.
  9. Buy a short length of new galvanised chain and put a thimble on the mooring rope (sailing partner has checked the mooring).
  10. Reconnect the front nets between the armas.
  11. Replace the tiller (currently been 'varnished').
  12. Fill a good gasoline container with gasoline.
  13. Organise transport and launch.

What is the galvanised chain for - the implication is for the mooring, then why chain, or why not chain and rope and why no shackle and no swivel and you may need a buoy.

Is the gasoline for a 2 stroke or 4 stroke.

I'd add a bottle, maybe 2, of something nice (and probably cold)
