The wind or not the wind?

First child? You'll find that the baby will enjoy a relatively robust but regular motion from wind and waves which you may think would upset it but it won't. We've had all three of ours out with us in F4/5 from the age of about 3 months no problem. It was actually SWMBO who was more worried about how baby would react that was more of a problem than baby itself. Mother's are always more protective of the first child - by the time you get aboard with a third they become a lot more blase about it. The main thing to be worried about is keeping them warm - wind and motion are only secondary.

Second, we have an 8 year old, however first baby with the boat. So far she has been fine, one trip.
