The Sunday Before Christmas

How many other people are cleaning the house ready for relatives arriving in the next day or two? I am and I wish I was sailing instead.

Can't wait for a Hogmanay cruise even if its just a couple of days!

Yeh being there, did that three days ago,
mother turned up, well had to go and pick her up actually, acouple of
days ago, dear of her is 78 now, trouble is,she goes on and on repeating
the same thing, mainly her aches and pains and what tablets she takes,
do not get me wrong I have lots of symphathy, but you start to run out after
the the twelth repeat, and thats before lunch! mind you to break the
monotony of repeating herself, she belches very loudly,I commented on it only
to be told, "where ever you may be, let your wind blow free" or says " he never
did have any patience, even when he was young" and takes every opportunity to criticise, saying when you get to my age you have a right to moan,
Do not mind her having a moan, trouble is, its me she moans about. never mind,
only here for another 3 weeks, As she says "you'll miss me when I,m gone"
Very true, we will. thats if I can keep my sanity until then! which at the
moment seems doubtful!
feel a lot better now I,v got that off my chest.
