What a weekend of contrast, firstly the good.
Sat at our berth in Peely Wheely on Sunday when a couple come and ask our opinion of our boat.They didn't peer through the windows etc. just came and asked.
We were pleased to sit and chat, give them a tour ( can only take 20 seconds) and exchage experiences ( 2 hrs later)
Unfortunately the bad took place on the Saturday just off South Beach when ''Daw Real'' a Fair-seeker 40 something doing about 30 knts decided to investigate why the slow moving boat was holding spead out a very large code flag 'A'(no wind to fly flag).
This investigation included an approach at 30 odd knts to within 20 yards of the surface bouy and then to carry on non the wiser for his late lunch appointment.
We were anchored abit closer to his track so enjoyed his wake even more than the dive boat.
Still the weather was fantastic.
The skipper of the dive boat looked at me and we both shrugged
