Not a sailing book, so I hope that is OK.

This has proved one of my all time favourite books, haunting in every way.

It's a part fact, part interwoven fiction account of a German WWII pilot leading a double life, and is extremely well written and researched, I have known some people who couldn't put this book down, others who felt uncomfortable as the ' haunting ' quality of the book is so powerful !

Certainly not a horror story or anything like it, simply a very good yarn where it is very difficult to tell where fact ends and fiction begins, if it ever did...
