I've just realised what an important resource the forum has become to me, much like in Greek times when you would ask "THE ORACLE" questions about destiny. I was just telling my wife(SWMBO in Forumish) about asking THE FORUM a question this morning and getting good answers. THE FORUM implies a collective of supernatural ability and knowledge where if no answer can be found, that answer does not exisit.

As a consequence of this, we should be asking THE FORUM questions about how to live our lives as the end result will be far greater than if we take these decisions independently. SO here goes

What shall I eat for my dinner?
Gin and tonic/ wine or both?
Shall I change the bedding tonight?
Pyjamas, boxers or nothing in bed?
Alarm or spontaneous waking?
Toilet before or after breakfast?
Andrex or own brand?
Make sandwiches or just revert to Pot Noodle on the boat tomorrow?
Do I really need a new spinnaker halyard given that at present I only use it about 6 times a year?

I look forward to a long, stimulating and fruitful life with the forum as my God.

BTW- no, I'm not going to see any fireworks, hence the long dull post on a Friday night.

What shall I eat for my dinner? Gin and tonic/ wine or both? Both
Shall I change the bedding tonight? This depends on next Q.
Pyjamas, boxers or nothing in bed? Ask SWMBO
Alarm or spontaneous waking? Hangover will wake you.
Toilet before or after breakfast? Given dinner above - before.
Andrex or own brand? Too much 'dinner' might dictate Andrex
Make sandwiches or just revert to Pot Noodle on the boat tomorrow? After last night dinner you may not want to eat so Pot Noodle - it will keep.
Do I really need a new spinnaker halyard given that at present I only use it about 6 times a year? Yes - hang the expense.

Thanks O Great One.

I'll tell SWMBO the FORUM has said I can have a new halyard

Truth be told, she doesn't mind money spent on the boat.

It was worth a go- looks like I'll just have to make my own decisions and continue the therapy.
