Once you have read ramage, hornblower et al it gets more difficult to find decent historical naval fiction books.
I’m not sure why I ignored these for so long, but once started I was hooked. Very well written, believable characters, realistic sounding situations and historical accuracy (. broadly speaking)
Very highly recommended, and there are 14 in the series
