This book was a slow burner for me but I loved it by the end. It’s got three distinct parts. I won’t spoil it for you.
Beattie is painfully honest about what he thinks about his crew.
And the ending is quite extraordinary.
Gripping read.

Yes, it's good. A bit different to the run-of-the-mill sailing adventure. I wish I'd not parted with my copy, as on occasion I've fancied reading it again.
