Jim (TR7V8) is one of the most likeable and generous people I've met, and thanks to this forum.
Having helped me remove a very obstinate Multicooler from my port engine (HT6354) he took it
to his local rad place and had it dipped in caustic soda I think, and pressure tested, met me on the
boat the other night worked till midnight refitting the darn thing.
The Perkins suppliers on the other hand cant seem to get things right, sent them a piccy from the manual
showing the Multicooler laid out with all the parts numbered and ID'd, I wanted two large ali washers
for the engine oil cooler pipe unions and two slightly smaller ones for the gearbox cooler unions, all quite
clear from the piccy. What do I get 4 large ones, which were'nt even right for the eng oil coooler unions
Anyways tomorrow will give her a spin to see if this has worked hopefully it will now pull max revs.
