With limited foredeck space, have you considered a "Nesting Dinghy".
Danny Greene's Chameleon is a great performer.

We also have a Caribe hyperlon rib. These are built and made for the tropics. We are not a fan of solid dinghies unless you are happy with dings out of your yacht hull. It doesnt matter how careful you are, if you are liveaboard dings from a hard dinghy are inevitable. In our experience you need a large solid dinghy to be safe. Small pram type dinghies are too tippy. Our hypalon Caribe RIB came to us second hand 4 years ago, we have no idea of its age but it wasn't new looking then. It is always exposed to UV as we use it daily throughout the year, no stickiness, no problems. It does come with another of those huge price tags though, but we consider it to be our car, so we will replace with the same when we need to.
They certainly know how money is made! That's horrendously expensive, €2700 for a tender?
