About 8 hours, did it in one day early August (Golden Days)

Yep, 8 is a good run assuming you get lucky with locks.

The perceived rule of thumb for calculating run times is to add the number of locks to the distance in miles and divide by 4.

The idea is that assumes an average speed of 4 mph and 15 minutes per lock.

On that basis it would be about 10 hours.

I used to do this run regularly (deliveries), summer and winter and there was little in it.
