TCM trip updates

Tight fisted lot as well. Presumably they are all sharing expenses so that's why they are anchoring and not using a mooring buoy or pontoon berth. Must have saved atleast £2 each doing it their way /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Great picture

My first thought was "thats a long trip for 2 people in a small inflatable" then I noticed DII in amongst the fishing boats /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tico is used to the rain being based where he is. Least he knows a lot about Diesel engines just in case. Long time no see mate.....

...and then . MAN engineers required

Just had calls from Matt. Starboard engine gone. Cause unknown. So speed down to 11knts

Some thinking on feet going on while they work out where to head. Brest and St Petersport possible, but Roscoff is only 11 miles away, and they might be able to get in there and have a look at engine, or find some fisherymen type engineers

If anyone knows emergency Sunday contact for Golden Arrow Marine, who rebuilt the engine, please let us know urgently.

Like wise for MAN diesel engineers at Roscoff or St Peters Port type locations who work Sundays!

Re: ...and then . MAN engineers required

Well you never said. But maybe he knows a few frenchy types. Cant see the french working sundays. Anyway the engine either got dirt or air probs, which are easy to mend. Or it's knackered, so wont be mended in a week or maybe a few days.

I meant Haydn, But if you have also, then you're a Lucky B@s**rd too!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: ...and then . MAN engineers required

They got to Roscoff OK. Found split olive on fuel pipe (possibly because engineers didn't refit support bracket?)

Waiting now to start late Mon

Roscoff report

It is nice here 10 meter tides, erm nice cheap restaurant, within an hour of being there we were boarded by armed Police, they were realy rather ok. We will have been here for 14 hours before we can call a bloody parts person. Did we mention that the wine was good

We have about 30 gallons of slightly used red diesel if anyone wants to buy it, shall we place an add on ebay

Bloody French AZERTY keyboards sorry for the typing, will update from next wine break or via Brendon, we are off back to the glamerous fishing dock to avoit the fishy crushed ice avelanches over the key side a few feet from the boat.
