They will be texting me when they set off on each leg, with destination and eta. I'll then be aiming to provide a weather forecast just before their eta, when they will be coming onshore and therefore able to pick up txt messages.
So, I'll be posting this information here, and picking brains off the forumites in forecasting next leg.
Certainally was not picking holes......just making an observation!!!It is not my m.o. to make criticism of others as those others seem too keen at times to do!! As per being totally unaware of the planning that is the case , all I have done is follow TCM's recent posts regarding the trip with interest so from that have got an incline to his thinking.......anyway as I said previous looks from the T=24hr synoptic chart all looks set for safe passage.
Fair enough, but I'm partly privvy to the prior planning in detail, and know that more than due diligence has been done. Don't want this bit of fun to start turning in questioning of decisions made by skipper and crew. I'm just relaying positions etc and providing shore support
Bloody wineing buggers, why cant they just get on with it and stop keeping us waiting. I wont to hear about the force 9 gales, engines packing in, dareing do's. Not parked up getting pissed!! Come on Bredan kick there arses into gear!!
